You would need the Epson Service Adjustment Program, which is available from any of the resellers who market manuals (do a search) This program allows you to access the EPROM and determine what the error code is - whether it is a problem with the PW sensor (relatively easy fix) or something more serious such as the CR or PF motor control (not so easy). ![]() If this doesn't solve your problem, then the issue is more complicated. Since this is a new printer, it is very unlikely but it is still worth a shot downloading the free SSC utility and resetting the waste ink counter. This occurs after a predetermined time when the printer guesses that the waste ink pads are full and have to be replaced. The first and most hopeful is that of a service request. ![]() There are several causes of fatal errors. ![]() Am I correct that both the ink and paper warning lights are flashing rapidly on the front panel? If this is the case, the lights are indicating what is known as a "fatal error". Check the nozzles if you notice print quality has declined and after cleaning, to confirm that the print head nozzles have been cleared.
